No Snow in Phoenix
It’s December 20th and I ran 8 miles in a t-shirt and shorts this morning, while the east coast and a lot of Europe is buried under snow. I love complaining about the weather in Phoenix - all year-round - but on a day like today I guess I should feel lucky.

11 Mile Run
PR record run today, simply by virtue of a new distance. However the pace really was record worthy for me. The last 10.4 mile run was 10:44 per mile. I ran today’s 11 at 10:05. Really good run. Spent a couple miles along the canal, which was new for me. Nice and quiet.
Didn’t have much pain during the run, not like on the 10.4 where my knees were killing me by the end, however...

Run Planning for Phoenix RNR Half-Marathon
The Phoenix Rock n’ Roll Marathon is Jan 17th. I’m running the half. I’ve loosely followed the Nike Plus beginner training schedule. I’m actually ahead of schedule, which affords me the luxury of getting lazy on scheduling the longer runs.
